Here is the project explanation and rubric

Here are some documents that will be helpful to you when creating the page for your method of generating electricity.

General page set up should be in the order you took notes. The writing should use visually differentiated text and images as in other wikis but follow appropriate punctuation rules

  1. Introduction and title- there should be a title and 1-2 sentences maximum to introduce your topic.
  2. How does it work?- In this section you need to write 3-4 sentences explaining how this process generates electricity. Focus on the energy transformation and devices involved to achieve. You also want to include pictures/animations to show this.
  3. How widespread is it?- In this section you want to include 1-2 sentences explaining how much it is used worldwide and in Africa. This is a great place for maps, charts(pie charts, bar graphs, etc..) showing this. You should also include what percentage of the world's total electricity generation comes from this method. You may also link to other pages within this wiki in this section.
  4. How efficient is it?- In this section you should include 1-3 sentences about the cost of the structures needed, how much electricity it generates, and a proportion(Ex: X grams of coal generates Y watts of electricity). You should have links to external websites where you got this information in this section. This is also a good section to include charts and graphs comparing it to other methods.
  5. Benefits and drawbacks- For this section you may want to use a table and bullet points. Keep in mind that you need to give some explanation. For example don't just write "bad for the environment" write "increased CO2 emissions increase global warming". You should have at least 3-4 bullet points for benefits and drawbacks.
  6. Role in the future-This section should be 4-6 sentences long and give your opinion about what role this method will play in the future. It should be written like a persuasive essay and address the different questions we used when taking notes. You should base your conclusions on information and you may include expert opinions. This is also a good place to have external links as well as links to other pages. Remember this is your opinion and there is no right or wrong answer but you have to support it with facts.
  7. Bibliography-This is all the websites you used to create this page, including those used for images.
